Vitamin B6
Pyridoxal 5'-Phosphate (P-5-P)
Nutrient Form:
Vitamin
Found In:
Chickpeas, Beef Liver, Fish & Poultry
Bioavailability:
P-5-P is widely recognized as the most bioavailable form of vitamin B6. Many supplements use a less bioavailable form called pyridoxine HCl, which is why we chose P-5-P for our formulas to ensure enhanced absorption into your body.
Description
P-5-P is the bioactive form of vitamin B6 and acts as a coenzyme to 160+ enzymes that convert amino acids into neurotransmitters and hormones integral to mood regulation and cognition function. We included this ingredient in both our daytime and nighttime formulas to provide steady, consistent production levels of key neurotransmitters.
Additionally, P-5-P, synergistically with tyrosine, aids in the production of norepinephrine and dopamine – key neurotransmitters that enhance neural and cardiac functions in your body.
Enhances Neural Health
Vitamin B6 plays a key role in the production of important neurotransmitters in your body. We included it in our Recover Nighttime formula to support a healthy, consistent dose of vitamin B6 with our Daytime Relief formula. This ensures your body has an adequate level in your daily diet to assist tyrosine with the healthy and consistent production of norepinephrine and dopamine.
Replenishes Key Nutrients
Vitamin B6 is rich in foods unfamiliar to most Western diets, including beef liver and chickpeas. Given that deficiencies in vitamin B6 are common, we made sure to include it in our formula to support your ongoing nutritional needs. It also aids in healthy neurotransmitter production, increased energy levels, while healthy mood regulation.
